Deposit Information regarding deposit protection
BPER Bank Luxembourg s.a.'s deposit protection scheme is provided by the Fonds de Garantie des Dépôts Luxembourg ('FGDL', formerly 'AGDL').
The purpose of the FGDL is to compensate eligible depositors, should a member institution fail, within seven working days and up to a maximum of €100,000 (unless otherwise stated) per depositor and per institution, subject to certain conditions and limits. (1) Scheme responsible for the protection of your deposits: Your deposit is covered by the Fonds de Garantie des Dépôts Luxembourg. If insolvency of your credit institution should occur, your deposits would be repaid up to EUR 100 000. |
(2) General limit of protection: In the cases provided by Article 171, paragraph 2 of the Law 18 December 2015 relating to the default of the credit institutions and of some investment entreprises, your deposits will be protected for an additional amount which will not exceed EUR 2. 500 000.
